I left Joberg with a full heart and happy memories and took a 4 hour bus ride north to White River to visit The Artist Press, a wonderful lithography studio run by Mark Attwood and Tamar Mason. Their studio is situated on their farm property, in the midst of macadamia and avocado groves. Besides running a professional print shop, they have a sustainable household and incredible garden and edible forest. My sister and I had two extremely relaxing days at their place and benefitted from their warm hospitality.
The Artists’ Press has a fantastic reputation as a professional lithography studio and they invite artists from all over South Africa to print with them.
